Lovely properly, very convenient for Matlock baths for the illuminations :) The properly was clean and tidy, plenty of towels and other essentials you would need. We were left some milk but if you are big hot drink drinkers (we are lol) make sure you do plan on where you will get milk etc from as there are no little shops that we could find for a good 20/30 min walk. Ok if you are able bodied, but something to keep in mind :)
The only down for me was the parking. I assumed when it said onsite that it would have a drive or something, but this was not the case. Parking is in the lay-by opposite or of that’s full, then the train station. The train station car park is a very short work and was around £7 for 24 hours, so very reasonable. I just think this should be mentioned in the listing :) oh also very steep stairs to the house, again ok if able bodied, but something to think about :)

Key Box was sticking, unable to access key. Resolved by host, but took a couple of hours.
Bathroom basin tap needs tightening, as wobbly.
2nd bedroom bed not made up, no mirror or bedside light.

Lovely property, great location and we would liked to have stayed longer. We visited Height of Abraham and walked lots - so a super stay.
Nothing I can think of.

Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and attractive decor. Very close to the Heights of Abraham and the Matlock Bath promenade.
No parking. (The parking area across the main road is apparently always full during the holiday season.)
