Über diese apartment dieses Ferienunterkunft
The two-story chalet was built by local craftsmen with great care and dedication. They took care to preserve the rustic, traditional Chiemgau character while also emphasizing modern amenities. This includes underfloor heating that can be controlled separately in each room, supplied by Naturwärme Reit im Winkl (district heating powered by wood energy). The upper floor alone—built entirely of wood, an impressive feat by local carpenters—gives guests a cozy, home-like feeling. The amenities in the two bedrooms and Wi-Fi access also make it possible to use them as a home office. The approximately 10 m² bathroom on the upper floor, featuring exposed wood construction, also contributes to a sense of well-being. The dining area—a traditional corner bench with a Jogl table—and the living room on the first floor impress with their warm, cozy, yet not old-fashioned ambiance. A fully equipped kitchen, an utility room with a washer and dryer, the entryway with a ski boot warmer, and much more make life on vacation easier. The balcony, terrace, and garden invite you to relax. A double wooden carport with a bicycle and ski storage area, as well as an electric vehicle charging station, round out the amenities.
The health resort of Reit im Winkl offers everything a vacationer’s heart desires: ancient, rustic farmhouses, flower-adorned wooden balconies, a Maypole, churches, and a distinctive Upper Bavarian town center. It is surrounded by forests, small lakes, waterfalls, and meadows with contented cows, as well as unspoiled nature as far as the eye can see. Reit im Winkl is actually located in one of the southernmost corners of Germany—in a beautiful landscape that is rarely found elsewhere. The valley is wide and open to the west, fog-free, and bathed in sunshine. The first premium hiking trails and the first via ferrata in Chiemgau, along with a wide range of family-friendly activities, offer everything the active vacationer could wish for. Also worth mentioning is the cross-border 18-hole golf course, with an unobstructed view of the rugged peaks of the Kaiser Mountains. A ride on the vintage chairlift from the Winklmoos-Alm to the Dürrnbachhorn offers guests a spectacular view of the idyllic Bavarian-Austrian Alps, stretching all the way to the main Alpine ridge. At over 20 alpine pastures, hikers—PGJyPg—Patricia and Michael live in Haus Bergahorn, right next to Chalet Vogelnest on the Waldbach, They welcome their guests personally and are happy to offer advice on hikes, alpine huts serving food and drink, the best Kaiserschmarrn, as well as alternative excursion destinations in case of bad weather.
