Enjoy the cool evening air on the terrace or in the garden of this house after a hot summer day spent at the beach. A pleasant breeze comes to visit you every evening. The traffic on the main road is a distant memory from earlier in the day. Now you’re surrounded by nature, lulled by the song of crickets or the crackling of the barbecue coals as they await the arrival of the meat. The children chase each other around the garden, waiting to be called in for dinner. This is what life is like in the summer at “CASA DELLA ZOLIA MENDIA.”
The apartment is spacious and bright. It’s located in a house with only two apartments. It has access to the garden and air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living area. It consists of an entryway, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a living area with a dining table and sofas, and 1 bathroom.
It has been furnished by breathing new life into antique furniture set against a backdrop of colorful interiors.
There is a terrace and a spacious balcony where you can dine outdoors and enjoy the view of the small valley and a stretch of the lake. The balcony leads directly to the garden, where you can sunbathe in privacy or have a barbecue. The garden at the back of the house is always very cool thanks to the shade provided by large persimmon trees. A small outdoor sitting area has been created here where you can meditate or read a good book in peace and quiet. The apartment can accommodate up to 7 people. Six people can sleep in the three bedrooms in double or single beds. The seventh person sleeps on the sofa bed in the living room.
In the house, you’ll find towels (1 set per person consisting of 1 shower towel, 1 face towel, and 1 bidet towel), bed linens, salt, sugar, and coffee.
A walking trail starts from the house and leads to the mystical Madonna del Rio waterfall. From here, you can follow the stream upstream through the woods and reach the summit of Mount Salò, where you can admire Lake Garda in all its beauty.
Barbarano Beach is a 10-minute drive away, as are the other beaches in the Gulf of Salò and the lakeside promenade. The center of Salò is about a 15-minute walk away, passing by the “Scala Santa,” or a 5-minute drive, as are the main supermarkets. You’ll be surrounded by the greenery of the countryside, yet just a stone’s throw from the center and the lovely shops along the lakefront.
