The Union Inn is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. All the accommodation has been recently updated and our bedroom was well equipped with complimentary toiletries etc, plus tea, coffee and bottled water. We didn't dine there but the food looked really nice and was great value. As to the inclusive breakfast, it was excellent and substantial.
Andy and Wendy are doing a fantastic job on developing this place and couldn't be better hosts. Location is great just 10mins walk from the centre of Malton.
Only negative was that the room was very warm with only one small opening window. A fan was provided to help with cooling and ventilation but wasn't ideal.
We would defintely stay hare again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area

Lovely place, immaculately clean and well presented. A really pleasant surprise as I didn’t know the area and wasn’t sure what a hotel/pub would be like but it was a really nice stay, with a genuinely friendly team. Breakfast (which was included within what I thought was a really reasonable price anyway) was cracking! Highly recommended.
