Canet is about 1 hour from Spain.
Around Canet I recommend:
- "Le Canari" yellow train, the highest railway line in Europe (plan a good day for the route)
- The SIGEAN reserve for wildlife lovers and budding little adventurers
- Collioure
- The Château de Salses; Catalan military fortress, where you can admire the ingenuity of the architects of the time who would have a lot to teach us.
- The fishing village
and many other activities.
