Hotel Casa Beatas

Loved the decor and exceptional standards. Very clean - great location 😊

Would have been nice to see ‘Reception Staff’ around but not a show stopper as there is a WhatsApp contact number.

I stayed in room 4. There was no hangers for towels in the bathroom. The shower had no separate space, so as we took a shower the floor would be wet and consequently dangerous. We had to use the mat towel to dry the floor. As it becomes soaking wet, we needed to use towels as a mat. The bedroom is VERY clear during the night as the corridor lights keep on all night long and although there are blinders to supposedly prevent the light from coming inside the room, it didn’t work at all.

It is incredibly well located, right in the centre of a busy area of the town centre with plenty of amenities and restaurants round the corner. The room itself is beautifully designed and has everything you need, alongside a great bathroom.

The whole experience was perfect until the room next door was occupied, to no blame of the occupants however. We were in 205 and there is a noticeable large gap in the wall to room 204. Once they returned/occupied their room, we could hear everything as if they were in our room with us…right down to basic bodily functions such as sneezing and the rest (I am sure you can imagine). We found this quite uncomfortable and although we were able to sleep, mostly thanks to luckily having quiet neighbours, I am sure they would also have been quite uncomfortable to know that we could hear everything, even their snoring when we woke up early to leave the next day. Having read the reviews once we noticed this, I fell upon a similar review, which if I had read before booking would have changed my mind. It really does put a huge damper on what is a truly lovely room in a perfect location. I imagine it could be easily fixed but requires some level of attention to the finish of the rooms.
