Kitchen was an unexpected and welcome bonus facility, which we think more hotels should consider offering. Room was a good size, but a little sparse on furnishings.
Staff excellent.
Music downstairs went on too late, but it didn't really matter much.

Lovely host, great atmosphere and really nice local pub. You cant hear a thing from the bar downstairs. Beds are really comfy and clean, and this was the cheapest place I could find near the Lake District. 100% reccomned if you are planning to drive up to the lakes.

manager was excellent room was clean and tidy bed was comfortable there was a kitchen you could use which had a fridge washing machine and dryer tea coffee sugar air fryer and toaster.
no breakfast or evening meal available cereal was available in individual servings garage 24hr across the road for a pint of milk not provided would stay again
the pillows for myself was uncomfortable but i am fussy

Reasonably priced for what we needed to put our heads down. Property clean and staff helpful however no food available so best to plan ahead and perhaps use communal kitchen area.. room was a little noisy due to road outside. Get a back room if one available
