17 On Cedar Boutique Guesthouse

It was clean and comfortable, well located and everything we need for a comfortable overnight stay in Cape Town. The owners were friendly. The food excellent.

There was nothing that I did not like.

Everything was on point, Gert and Robert were excellent hosts, and they knew exactly how to treat guests, and it is evident that they come from h7mble beginnings from: 1. The communication message we received earlier in the day of check-in from one of the hosts who, gave us the location of the guesthouse and wished us well on our flight to Cape Town. 2. The host's accessibility allowed us to check-in late, and he was readily available to assist telephonically when the GPS had lost its signal. 3. The welcoming and warm manner in which he welcomed myself and my daughter into the guesthouse and carried our heavy suitcases to our room. 4. The pictures dont do justice to the beauty of the bedrooms. The boutique look and attention to detail are absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms smell refreshing. 5. The refreshment station with complimentary rusks, milk, tea, decaf coffee, and a nespresso machine with 2 pods was a winner and gave it a personal touch. Guests also have the option of minibar snacks that can be paid for at check-out. 6. Complimentary bottled water every day and a guest robe are available in the rooms for guest's comfort. 7. The hosts explained everything in detail and engaged with us on a personal level during breakfast, which made our stay that much more comfortable, and exceeded our expectations even when we informed them that the event we were attending would finish late and we would need to warm up our supper when we arrived back late, they offered to place a microwave in our room for our convenience. 8. We had an early start on our last day and needed a packed breakfast, and they more than exceeded our expectations in packing us a warm breakfast pack and the buffet menu.That was a heart-warming touch to an early start to our day 9. The breakfast spread was amazingly delicious, and Gert prepared and presented the breakfast beautifully every morning, and it felt as though we were in an upmarket restaurant. 10.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The place was amazing, beautiful, welcoming, and had such a great atmosphere, oh and great breakfast. But what really stood out were the hosts, Robert and Gert, incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely amazing people. I also had a great conversation with one of the hosts, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. You can really tell that they care about their guests and want you to have a great time. From the moment I arrived until I left, everything was excellent. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience.

I loved everything about the place and hosts!

I've been traveling to Cpt every six month's for the last 3 years and this is by far the best place I've ever stayed at. My flight was delayed and the two amazing hosts waited for me to arrive at 21:30. The room is spectacular, not only beautiful but so comfortable. Had the best nights rest in the most luxurious bed and that after a hectic day. I was left wanting for nothing with all the complimentary items in the room. There were even some bath bombs available to relax properly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts really go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with your stay. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
