Welcome to Lake Butte des Morts. This newly renovated four-bedroom, three-bath waterfront home near Omro has direct lake access, beautiful water views and room for up to 13 guests, perfect for families and groups.



Spend your days fishing, swimming or paddling the two kayaks, then fire up the gas grill on the patio. Cross the bridge to the private island for an evening around the giant fire pit at the water's edge. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed WiFi and cozy living spaces. It's a peaceful, quiet getaway, just minutes from groceries and shopping in Omro and Oshkosh.



The Space:

This spacious lakefront home pairs comfort and relaxation with plenty of outdoor adventure.



The main floor has a private bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom, a great setup for anyone who'd rather skip the stairs. Upstairs, two more private bedrooms each have a king bed. The large fourth bedroom is perfect for kids and groups, with a queen bed, a single bed, a bunk bed with a trundle and two chairs that fold out into twin beds. Two full bathrooms upstairs serve these rooms, so the home sleeps up to 13 guests comfortably.



The fully equipped kitchen is the heart of the home, with modern appliances and all the cookware you need for big family meals. High-speed WiFi and cozy living spaces make it easy to relax indoors.



Step outside to the patio and backyard, where you can use the gas grill and outdoor seating while taking in the water views. Cross the bridge to the island, where a giant fire pit sits right at the water's edge. With direct lake access and two kayaks, you're all set for fishing, paddling and beach days.



Guest Access:

The entire home is yours during your stay, including all four bedrooms, three bathrooms, the kitchen, the living spaces, the patio, the backyard, the island fire pit, the kayaks and direct lake access.



This is a self-check-in property with keyless entry, so you can come and go as you please. Your check-in instructions and personal entry code will come through Breezeway before you arrive.



There's plenty of parking in the driveway for up to four cars, with extra parking along the road.



Please make yourself at home, and respect any locked doors, storage areas or spaces marked private.



The Neighborhood:

The home sits on a very quiet private road on Lake Butte des Morts, just minutes from Omro and Oshkosh, so groceries and shopping are close by.

Omro: about 5 to 10 minutes

Oshkosh: about 10 to 15 minutes

EAA grounds: about 10 to 15 minutes



Lake Butte des Morts is known for great fishing, especially walleye, northern pike and perch, along with bass, musky and sturgeon. It's also a great lake for boating and paddling.



In nearby Omro, Scott Park sits on a 7-acre island in the Fox River, with shoreline fishing, a playground and picnic areas, plus an ice rink in winter. Families will also love the Omro Aquatic Center in summer. For a bite to eat, try Tanners Tap and Grill or Fiesta California Grill and Bar, or stop by Rushford Meadery & Winery for a tasting.



Oshkosh is just a short drive away, with downtown restaurants, the Riverwalk, the Saturday farmers market in season and the EAA Aviation Museum and AirVenture grounds.



Getting Around:

Uber and Lyft are available, but since the home is outside town, rides may take longer to arrive, especially late at night, during AirVenture or in winter weather. We suggest booking a little early.



A car is the easiest way to get around. Omro, Oshkosh and the EAA grounds are all a short drive away. The driveway fits up to four cars, with extra parking along the road.



Other Things to Note:

This is a waterfront home with direct lake access. There's no lifeguard, so please keep a close eye on children and pets near the water at all times. Swimming and kayaking are at your own risk, and we recommend wearing life jackets.



Please use the kayaks with care, and return them to their spot after each use.



The fire pit is on the island across the bridge, at the water's edge. Never leave a fire unattended, keep children supervised, and make sure the fire is completely out before heading back to the house.



Please use the gas grill with care, and let it cool completely after use.



The main-floor bedroom has its own full bathroom. The other three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are upstairs, so some guests will need to use stairs.



The home is on a quiet private road, so please be considerate of the neighbors, especially outdoors and after 10:00 PM.



Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the home. If we find signs of smoking or vaping, a $250 fine will be charged. Parties and events are also not allowed.



If you notice any damage or maintenance problems, please message us through Breezeway right away so we can fix them.
