Princeville sits high on Kauai's green North Shore, where lookouts, golf, and broad ocean views set the pace. Hanalei is about four miles down the hill for beach days, local dining, and a slower town afternoon. Stop at the Hanalei Valley lookout on the way, then choose Hanalei Bay or Anini Beach for the day. It is a great base for families who want Kauai's lush scenery with supplies and restaurants close enough for easy planning.



Getting Around:

Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away via a scenic drive along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended since the North Shore's beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville itself offers walkable access to some shops and dining, while beaches like Hanalei Bay are a short drive. Parking is typically available in lots or driveways at most properties.



Other Things to Note:

Streaming is available using your own accounts. The soaking tub may not have sufficient hot water to fill completely, however there is plenty of hot water for showers, the standard bathtub, and normal use of the washer/dryer.
