Über diese cottage dieses Ferienunterkunft
Despite its peaceful rural location, this charming chalet is brilliantly placed for anyone looking to slow down in a natural setting, with days out to the beach easy to arrange. Kent’s coastline offers a great mix of sandy and pebbly beaches, with Sunny Sands in Folkestone (6 miles) for a classic seaside day, while Sandgate and Mermaid Beach (8 miles) are lovely spots for swimming and beachcombing. For the avid walkers in the group, take on a scenic walk along the famous White Cliffs of Dover (7.5 miles) before heading into Dover town to refuel with local delicacies. Wildlife lovers will be in their element too, with Port Lympne Safari Park and Howletts Wildlife Sanctuary both within a 14-mile drive.
Enter this stylish lodge and be welcomed into the bright, well-proportioned, open-plan living area, which immediately conveys a sense of nature and comfort. The elegant interiors create a feeling of relaxation, with wooden beams, cladded walls, and large windows framing rolling landscapes. Quiet evenings or time spent together as a group can be had on the cushy seating in front of the TV. The kitchen is the heart of the retreat and has been carefully designed to accommodate group living, with plenty of equipment for all culinary needs and a modern table to enjoy them. There’s a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer too. This luxurious property boasts six generously sized bedrooms, including a super-king-size, a super-king-size zip-and-link, one double, one twin and two triple bedrooms. Each is thoughtfully presented to offer a calm, comfortable retreat after a busy day at the beach. Further enhancing the spaciousness and privacy of this hideaway are the six modern bathrooms, comprising four en-suite shower rooms with showers and WCs, and two bathrooms with baths, showers and WCs.
Venture outside, and you’ll find a haven for slow mornings and relaxing evenings. Soak your cares away in the hot tub, stroll the magnificent grounds or fire up the BBQ in the garden for an al fresco feast. On the wider site, a children’s play area will entertain younger guests. There is private parking for six cars.
