This beautiful cottage provides the ideal setting for couples, a family or friends (including the dog) looking to relax and enjoy both coast and countryside on the southern side of the Llyn Peninsula. It’s located in a quiet village 3 miles from the holiday market town of Pwllheli, renowned for its marina and events. The beautiful village of Abersoch is only 4 miles away, boasting independent shops and eateries, not forgetting the sandy bay that’s popular with water sports enthusiasts. If country walks are for you, you’ll find these in abundance, while some of Wales’ famous castles, such as Criccieth (11 miles), Caernarfon (20 miles) and Harlech (20 miles) are also nearby. For TV lovers, the village of Portmeirion, which was the setting for the 1960’s sci-fi series The Prisoner, is 15 miles away.

On stepping into this relaxed yet modern-style cottage you enter into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner. Relax on the sumptuous sofa and chairs, watch your favourites on the Smart TV and snuggle up in front of the wood burner for cosy nights in. The stylish kitchen has access to the garden and all the mod cons you need to prepare a delicious meal, maybe using local produce purchased on your travels. When the meal is ready, gather at the dining table with views of the garden from the large window. There is a useful outside utility. When ready for bed, head upstairs and choose from two lovely bedrooms, the spacious double or the cosy twin with garden views. Take a leisurely start to the day with a soak in the shower before heading out for a day’s adventure.

The enclosed garden, accessed from the parking area or the kitchen, is an attractive space with established shrubs and borders, a water feature and an abundance of birds. Relax at the table and chairs and make the most of the charcoal BBQ for some lovely al fresco dining. The outside utility shed has enough room for your outdoor attire, with space for your bikes and paddleboards in the garden. Parking for one car is available on the driveway.
