Alternatively, grab your swimsuit and treat yourself to an afternoon dip at Shepton Mallet Lido (4 miles), which is warmed using recycled heat from a nearby cider and perry maker. Further afield, head to Stonehenge (35 miles) to gaze upon the iconic stone circle, which is believed to have been built around 3100BC.


Step inside this lovely Grade II-listed barn conversion and you’ll discover a charming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner showcasing original features, beautiful, exposed stonework and rustic design details. Cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen area and share a romantic meal for two in the quaint dining area beside the large window. Afterwards, snuggle up in front of the wood burner in the lounge area and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV.
