**Villa de Duintop (12 guests)**

Villa de Duintop in Bergen aan Zee is a truly Dutch and charming family vacation home, uniquely situated high on a dune and in the middle of a 6,000 m² dune garden, with fantastic views all around! It dates back to 1952 and has recently been renovated with great care, preserving its unique character.
The paved driveway leads to a spacious courtyard with parking for several cars; from there, a stone staircase leads to the front door.

Upstairs, there is a sweeping view of Parnassia Park, the village, and the sea. From the rooms at the rear and the large south-facing terrace, a surprising and—by Dutch standards—unique panoramic unobstructed view unfolds over thousands of hectares of the North Holland Dune Reserve, where herds of wild horses and cattle roam. Egmond lies in the distance, and on clear days you can also see the succession of coastal villages and, at night, the lighthouses.

It’s just a five-minute walk with your beach bag and shovels to the beach—perfect for sunbathing, building sandcastles, taking a refreshing dip, or going for a long walk; it’s the same distance to the village for the newspaper and fresh rolls. With its petting zoo, playground, nature museum, aviary, duck pond, and mini-golf course, Parnassia Park offers a wonderful and easily accessible play area for children right from home.

On the first floor, there is a spacious southwest-facing living room (600 x 650), with a fireplace and large windows, which flows into the dining room (360 x 400).
The adjacent renovated kitchen is equipped with a Bosch dishwasher, a Samsung side-by-side American-style refrigerator/freezer, a Boretti gas stove with a wide electric oven, a Nespresso machine, a microwave, and a granite countertop with a double sink.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen all have French doors leading to the spacious south-facing terrace (125 m²).
Additionally, the first floor features a half-bath and one double bedroom (510 x 340) facing east, with its own small bathroom featuring a sink and shower, as well as radiant floor heating.

On the first floor is the master bedroom (600 x 400), facing southwest, with a walk-in closet and balcony, and an adjoining bathroom (350 x 175) with a bathtub, separate shower and sink, and underfloor heating.
Further down the hallway are a separate shower and separate toilet, as well as three double bedrooms (390 x 400, 300 x 400, 300 x 350), two facing south and one facing east, each with two single beds and its own sink.
All bedrooms are equipped with box springs with pocket-coil mattresses and synthetic (and, in the summer, cotton) comforters.

On the second floor is the sixth bedroom (270 x 580) with two single beds and its own sink.
The basement houses the laundry room with a Miele washer and dryer, as well as indoor and outdoor clotheslines.

The former garage features a large ping-pong table. There are two swings and a sandbox on the property.
A crib, high chairs, and a playpen are available.
The house has central heating, double-glazed windows, a water heater, cable TV, and wireless internet.

Villa De Duintop is very practical and comfortable for families with (young) children, but due to the (outdoor) stairs, it is not very suitable for wheelchairs. For a carefree, typically Dutch beach vacation with the whole family, Villa De Duintop is the perfect choice!
