Further afield, pull on your hiking boots and explore the beautiful Shropshire Hills (17.5 miles).


Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that’s bathed in natural light, clad in rustic wood and adorned in natural fabrics. Head to the sleek kitchen area to whip up a romantic dinner for two and enjoy an intimate meal at the dining table. Open up the lodge’s patio doors so you can listen to birdsong while you dine. After dinner, slip onto a sofa to snuggle in front of the TV. When it’s time for bed, make your way to the cosy King-size bedroom. In the morning you’ll wake up to glorious waterfront views.


Making the most of the great outdoors is easy at this lodge. Fish in one of the property’s fishing pools or spot wildlife on the lawn.
