The nearby town of Barnstaple offers an array of amenities including the characterful Pannier Market, in Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day trip to Lundy Island. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and Dartington Crystal.
