If you prefer more calm, several accesses are available at the end of the village and going towards Lapalme (Rouet beach).
Other beaches are in La Franqui, Leucate, Narbonne and Gruissan.

A must-see: a tasting at the oyster farmers in Leucate. It's open all day, there are about 20 shacks with terraces on the water, oysters, sea urchins, shrimps and white wine. Nothing cooked and no fries!
For day trips you will go and see the 10 Cathar castles.... Queribus, Aguilar, Peyrepertuse, Villerouge Termenes.
Or for the children go on a safari by car in the Sigean reserve.
Visit the abbey of Fontfroide, the artistic village of Lagrasse, the gorges of Galamus, the city of Carcassonne, taste the wine from here.
There is the weekly market in Port la nouvelle on Saturdays, place de l'église. For exceptional products, go to the "Halles de Narbonne", near the Canal de la Robine in the downtown.
