Apartment 614 occupies the top two floors of the Auberge Jérôme, in the heart of Arc 1950: a five-star village entirely pedestrianised, where you put on your skis in front of the door and where you only get back in your car when you leave. Push the door: a fireplace is just waiting for a match, a large table for eight, three bedrooms under the roof, and a balcony that looks Mont Blanc straight in the eye.

THREE DOUBLE BEDROOMS, THREE REAL DOORS
Bedrooms 2 and 3 are twin beds joined together: the width of a large 180 cm bed, but a mattress and bedding for each. No more duvet pulled out in the middle of the night, no more compromise on temperature. Couples sleep better than in a double bed, and two friends are perfectly comfortable there. The beds can be separated in one move if you prefer two separate beds.

SKIING
Two private ski lockers on level -2, with direct access by elevator and exit to the slopes. You go down with your boots on your feet, you go back up without carrying your skis.

Arc 1950 was designed like a Savoyard hamlet: no cars, no concrete, larch, stone and the smell of wood fire. Everything is within walking distance, and everything is within two minutes of the apartment.

Eleven addresses in the village. Chez Léontine and its fondue prepared in front of you, just under the apartment. La Bohème and its terrace in the sun on the slopes. La Vache Rouge for meats and oysters. Luigi's Chalet for pizzas. Wood Bear Café for a light lunch. Wool Sock's Pub for après-ski and live music. Many offer take-out meals, for those evenings when you prefer to dine by the fire.

Arc 1950 opens onto Les Arcs, and the Vanoise Express takes you in four minutes to La Plagne: 425 km of connected slopes, from the village at 1950 m to the Aiguille Rouge at 3226 m and its mythical 7 km descent. The second largest ski area in the world, without ever taking the car.

BY TRAIN
TGV and Eurostar serve Bourg-Saint-Maurice directly, including at night and on weekends in winter. Then a free funicular to Arc 1600, every 20 minutes, and a shuttle to Arc 1950. A car-free stay is perfectly possible.
BY PLANE
Lyon, Geneva or Chambéry, then train or road. Allow 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours from Lyon or Geneva.
BY CAR
Thirty minutes of hairpin bends above Bourg-Saint-Maurice, on a road cleared of snow all season long. Underground parking lot in the residence, paid for and booked in advance, with direct access by lift: you can take your luggage up without ever getting out.
