A true seaside idyll by the Eidangerfjord – Cozy house with an annex for rent
Are you looking for an idyllic place for a short or long stay? We’re renting out a cozy little house with an annex in Porsgrunn, offering beautiful views of Eidangerfjorden, Kattøya, Olavsberget, and the marinas in Skjelsvik and Døvika.
Highlights and sleeping arrangements:

* Sleeps up to 8 people.

* Main house: Sleeps 4 people.

* Annex: Sleeps 3 people + sofa bed.

* Large garden with a grill and sunshine from morning to evening.

* Beaches: Just a few minutes’ walk to two of the beaches, and another 5–7 beautiful beaches within a radius of 1.5 to 9 km.

* Free parking for 2 cars.

* Bedding sets and towels can be rented for kr 150,- per set.

* The primary renter must preferably be over 25 years of age.


RULES FOR A PLEASANT STAY AT RØTUABAKKEN 1

We want the house to bewell and remain in the same condition as when you arrive. Please follow these rules during your stay:

* Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.

* Indoors/Outdoors: Shoes are not allowed indoors and must be removed in the entryway (please use indoor shoes or slippers if necessary). Bring garden cushions and other equipment inside for the evening. These should not be taken outside in rainy weather.

* Towels: The house’s towels should not be used outdoors. Bring your own towels for use at the beach or in swimming facilities.

* Quiet hours and visitors: Quiet hours are at 11:00 PM on weekdays and at midnight on weekends. Partying is not permitted. Guests other than those specified in the contract may not stay overnight without the landlord’s permission.

* Furniture and furnishings: Food and drinks must be consumed at the table (not on sofas, armchairs, or beds). Avoid spilling food. Jumping on beds and furniture is not permitted.

* Children’s safety: The indoor staircase is steep, so small children must not use the stairs alone without adult supervision. Young children must also be supervised outdoors, as the area is not fenced in.

* Electricity and Heating: Space heaters and the heat pump must be turned off when leaving the house (or set to a lower temperature during colder seasons). Be mindful of unnecessary electricity usage. The fireplace may only be used under supervision.

* Trash and cleaning: Trash and food scraps must be disposed of in the outdoor trash can to prevent odors inside. We sort our trash; bags must be tied shut, and empty bottles and cans must be rinsed.

* Kitchen: The oven/stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, tea kettle, waffle iron, and other kitchen appliances must be washed after use. Drawers and cabinets must be tidy and clean.

* Before departure: All dishes must be washed and the dishwasher emptied. The grill and fireplace must be cleaned after use (an ash bucket is located outside by the grill).

* Bedding/towels: The renter is responsible for removing the bedding before departure. Used bedding, towels, and dishcloths should be gathered and placed on the bathroom floor or in the laundry basket.

Rooms and sleeping arrangements

Kitchen:
Oven, stovetop, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, waffle iron. All necessary kitchenware, including cups and dishes, is provided.

Living room:
Corner sofa + 2 armchairs, dining set with extendable round table + 6 chairs (and two extra folding chairs). Display cabinet with extra tableware, glasses, plates, and bowls.
Fireplace (you must bring your own firewood).
Internet and TV with national channels.

Bathroom: Shower stall, wall-mounted toilet,
heated floor, hair dryer, and washing machine.

Bedroom 1:
Double bed 150×200 cm

Bedroom 2:
Double bed 150×200 cm

Annex:
Family bunk bed with a double bed (150×200 cm) and an upper bunk (90×200 cm). There is also a sofa bed that is approx. 110 cm wide
Space for a crib.

All beds have comfortable mattresses with mattress protectors. Pillows have pillow protectors.
