Über diese haus dieses Ferienunterkunft
Welcome to Dud's Den, a comfortable single-story home in King, North Carolina, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and space for up to 5 guests. Nestled on a spacious lawn with mature shade trees, this home offers a relaxed, homey feel — the kind of place where you can put your feet up after a day of hiking or wine tasting.
Inside, you'll find a bright kitchen with plenty of counter space and cabinet storage, a full stove and dishwasher, and a coffee maker ready to go for your morning cup. The dining area seats up to six around a warm wood table — great for meals together after a day of exploring. Unwind in the living room's oversized leather recliners with ottomans, stream your favorite shows on the TV, and toss a load of laundry in the washer and dryer if you're staying a few days.
Outside, there's a covered carport plus ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles, and a spacious yard for kids or pets to run around. Fire up the Blackstone griddle for a group cookout, gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down, or challenge your travel companions to a game of cornhole — boards provided!
Use Dud's Den as your home base to explore Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park, both a short drive away and known for their hiking trails, waterfalls, and sweeping overlooks. Wine lovers will love being just minutes from the Yadkin Valley AVA, North Carolina's largest wine region, with vineyards like Divine Llama Vineyards offering tastings (and even llama trekking!) nearby. In the evenings, grab dinner at one of King's local favorites, or head 25 minutes south to Winston-Salem for a wider range of restaurants, breweries, the historic Old Salem district, or a Wake Forest University Home game!
Whether you're planning a weekend getaway, a hiking basecamp, or a relaxed wine-country escape, Dud's Den offers a comfortable, welcoming stay right in the middle of it all.
