Lake Days, Game Nights & Yosemite Adventures
This is the kind of mountain getaway where everyone finds something to love. Start the morning with coffee on the large deck, under the calming shade of an old oak tree listening to the chirping morning birds, and watching some passing deer. Spend the afternoon swimming or kayaking (during summer) at the sparkling and warm Pine Mountain Lake. You can also have an early start and venture out to explore the treasures of Yosemite national park or Hetch Hetchy reservoir. Down in the valley, you can take the train at Jamestown and enjoy a bygone era. In any case, evenings are for burgers on the grill, and a cozy night by the wood-burning fireplace. We have it all!
You’ll be inside the Pine Mountain Lake community, with access to the lake beach, a seasonal outdoor pool, and tennis and pickleball courts. Groveland’s restaurants are nearby, and you’ll also be in a great spot for fishing, winery visits, Gold Country adventures, and unforgettable day trips to Yosemite National Park. Shoutout to Iron Door Salon which is the longest running salon in California.
The home makes group trips feel easy, with three king beds, a bunk room setup, a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, kid-friendly gear, and plenty of space to spread out. Bring your pup along for the fun, park up to four vehicles in the driveway, and settle in for a Sierra Nevada escape that feels relaxed from the moment you arrive.
