The apartment itself was newly refurbished, clean and tidy. The location is in an area close to the museums quarter with good transport links (bus/tram and metro stops only a short walk away). Seemed to have a decent nightlife around cafes/bars. Only stayed 1 night however.

Communication between property management. Arrived at the property and the instructions to gain entry to the property were incorrect. Telephone call following WhatsApp instructions gave no answer. Used the booking.com link and was told someone would come in 1 min. Called back after a few minutes asking for an update, was told 5 mins - colleague was on the way. Door is normally open but ut was locked (should have prepared for this). I was desperate for the toilet, if I had been giving clearer accurate information would have gone to local cafe - surrounding area was clearly against short term rental properties. Abuse shouted from the windows whilst we waited. Further frustrated telephone call made as still no one had arrived. Asked the person attending the property to call with information of specific arrival time but no one did. Had attempted to contact booking.com, eventually gained access to property 30 minutes after arrival. Person who attempted said it is a new property, I said it was poor that I had been left waiting, especially as it was after check in time, without realistic information. He said was traffic and he'd only been called 5 minutes before. Property management was also yelled abuse at when attending. Outside the apartment itself it is like a building site/derelict made me feel uncomfortable.
