Maria is a wonderfully welcoming host; words cannot fully describe her warmth. The house was pleasantly cool and featured a spacious terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains, a roomy kitchen, a comfortable bed, and high-quality linens. A bakery, a pastry shop, and a grocery store are all within a few minutes' walk, while beaches and the old town of Ischia are about a 12–15 minute walk away. Buses that circle the island depart from a point approximately 1.8 km from the house, which is situated in a very quiet part of town. I had a truly wonderful stay in this lovely place.
