Heating & cooling: This charming 1951 home has central HVAC, but like many older homes, the front rooms can run a few degrees warmer on very hot days. To keep everyone comfortable, we've added extra floor vents, a portable A/C unit in the kitchen that you're welcome to use, ceiling fans in every room, and box fans. ★☆ GAME ROOM ☆★ A true highlight of the property, the detached air-conditioned game room offers additional living and entertainment space separate from the main house. Noise & smoke sensor: Per City of Norfolk short-term rental regulations, this home has a WYND Sentry sensor in the living room (plugged into a wall outlet behind the couch).
