YOUR MOUNTAIN ESCAPE:
- You`ll have the entire chalet and its 3.5-acre property to yourself during your stay.
- This is a true mountain property, which means you`ll trade city conveniences for privacy, scenery, wildlife, fresh mountain air, and plenty of room to unplug.
- The nearest town, restaurants, gas stations, and stores are approximately 25–30 minutes away, so we recommend grabbing groceries and supplies before settling in.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION:
- Hidden Haven sits at nearly 10,000 feet in elevation and is accessed by dirt county roads.
- 4-wheel drive is REQUIRED October through April. Snowfall can be significant, the driveway is steep, and road conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
- Your vehicle should also be comfortable traveling on dirt roads that may be muddy, dusty, or bumpy depending on the season.
- Cell service can be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. The cabin is equipped with Starlink internet for staying connected and streaming during your stay.
- Because of the high elevation, guests who are sensitive to altitude should plan accordingly.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:
- The home is equipped with a mini-split AC unit rather than whole-home central air. Summer afternoons can become warm inside, but mountain temperatures typically cool significantly in the evenings. Opening the windows and using fans can help cool the cabin quickly at night.
- The home uses a septic system. Please flush toilet paper only.
- The cabin sits near the neighboring property`s boundary. Because the property line is not fenced or always obvious, please be mindful of outdoor noise and remain on the Hidden Haven property.
For enhanced safety and property protection, we`ve partnered with Truvi - Know Your Guest.
We provide starter consumables including toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, and paper towels. Guests staying longer or needing additional supplies can purchase them in town.
Please review the House Rules before booking for additional important information about your stay.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS WHATSOEVER. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund.
We run on septic. Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the septic clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs.
