The Omega Studio: a newly renovated private studio behind The Omega House, just north of the Houston Heights. Built for one or two guests, much like a polished hotel room with a full kitchen: a king bed, a workspace, an in-unit washer and dryer, a walk-in shower, fast Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Minutes from the Heights' restaurants, with quick access to Downtown, Daikin Park and the Galleria. Keypad self check-in and free parking out front.
The Space:
A 250 sq ft studio: one open room, intentionally compact and similar in size to a hotel room, with a separate full bathroom. Everything is new: a king bed with fresh linens, a full kitchen with stainless appliances and a dishwasher, a stacked washer and dryer, a walk-in tiled shower, a ceiling fan, mini-split air and heat, and a small workspace. Best suited to one or two guests traveling light; for a larger party, The Omega House at the front of the lot is the better fit.
Guest Access:
The entire studio is yours, with private keypad entry. The Studio is a separate building at the back of 3508 Omega Street: follow the gravel path along either side of the main house to the back of the lot, where your door and keypad face the yard. The main house is a separate residence. Free street parking is directly out front.
The Neighborhood:
Just north of the Houston Heights on a quiet residential street, ten minutes from Downtown and Daikin Park. The Heights' 19th Street is home to many of the city's favorite restaurants, coffee shops and bars, including Coltivare, Better Luck Tomorrow, Eight Row Flint and Boomtown Coffee, all within a ten-minute drive. H-E-B, Target and pharmacies are five minutes away.
Getting Around:
Downtown 10 min. Daikin Park and Toyota Center 12 to 15 min. The Heights (19th St) 10 min. Galleria 20 min. Texas Medical Center 20 to 25 min. NRG Stadium 25 to 30 min (not walkable). Bush Intercontinental (IAH) 20 min; Hobby (HOU) 25 to 30 min. Add 10 to 15 minutes in rush hour. Rideshare is reliable and the best option for game days and concerts. Free street parking out front.
