A homestay with Jane, Amos and their son Surprise is a perfect way to experience Bwindi. They have an Ugandan home with an amazing view across the mountains. They are exceptional hosts, able to introduce you to the local community and environment. Amos is an excellent guide for local hikes and Jane can offer a range of cultural experiences, such as participating in local craft workshops. The property has running water and solar panels to enable phone charging but is off grid. It is a place of peace and tranquility in the beautiful surrounds of Bwindi on the edge of the National Park. Perfectly placed for Gorilla trekking and bird watching. They can arrange an excellent chef for all your meals during your stay. I would recommend a stay for a truly unique Ugandan experience.

This is a homestay experience in an Ugandan home with very hospitable hosts, so please do not expect a hotel experience. You will experience the community from being part of the family sharing their home.
