Location and friendly staff

As described, room and toilet is clean , with air condition , which is essential in summer time . breakfast is home made , croissant , baguette , cheese, ham , salmon , all are good coffee and tea , exceptional , especially the fresh orange juice .

Breakfast amazing- location close to great sights and food. Phillipe made as feel like family. His grandmothers homemade pound cake is exceptional! What a wonderful opportunity to share the French culture.

We really can’t think of anything

We loved our stay here and so thankful that we found this accommodation, it really made our time in Paris. Lovely hosts, great location, comfortable and clean. I can’t compare to other locations in Paris but this area was very quiet, pretty, close to lovely restaurants and a nearby supermarket. It was a 40 minute walk to the Louvre, Saint Germaine, Latin Quarter, Musee d Orsay or short Uber ride. I would have liked to hire the nearby city bikes (Velib) but the weather turned rainy. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to each day. Coffee and cold drinks were available at any time which came in very handy for our stay as I’m travelling with teenagers. Each morning at breakfast we were asked about our plans for the day and offered travel advice. They were more than happy and willing to help with any questions we had and even made a restaurant reservation for us.

Wonderful. Old, grand, Parisian building. Run as a small B&B by a family. Lots of attention to hospitality, very nice breakfast, everything you need. This level of character and personalisation can definitely not be beat by a big hotel chain.

Breakfast each morning was simply lovely. Freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and milk/cream made to our taste, a selection of bread and croissants, yoghurt, a cheese and meat sideboard, and eggs cooked to order... not to mention the kind attention of our hosts who were always ready with advice or information. In addition to this charming morning meal, the common space was kept stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, and homemade cake at all times of the day. This well-appointed space was a pleasure to sit in and rest one's legs from a long day's walk, and perhaps seek advice from a large selection of Paris guidebooks before heading back out again. Enough cannot be said about the lovely shower: a high rainshower head, towel warmer, slippers and robes, and Malin & Goetz products. It was enough to encourage a surfeit of showering! Most of all, I'd like to commend our hosts for finding the perfect balance of providing information and advice...as well as privacy and quiet. We were able to message for advice, or ask our questions, during the day, and always received helpful answers. We were also able to count on our hosts to give us space and leave us to our conversations. In short: neither obsequious nor aloof, our hosts were simply perfect.
