Set in a cluster of villas at the very end of a hillside road this villa is lovely. Well equipped and has an excellent pool.Youdo need a car but the villas height above sea level means there are cooling breezes and stunning views of the surrounding countryside and bay. The closest town is Tolo which has a lively seaside vibe with a sandy beach and all the shops you need, if you want a larger supermarket then Nafplio has several about 15 mins drive away. Nafplio old town and harbour are a must to visit, we visited several times.We loved our time here- swimming in the pool in the morning and days out to historical sites and olive oil producers were so much fun. Highly recommended. It’s worth saying we stayed for 10 days and the house was cleaned and beds changed mid way through our stay- which was much appreciated.

Absolutely stunning villa - the view from every balcony is stunning, the pool and jacuzzi are great and we had everything we needed for a truly wonderful stay. The first drive up the hill was a little hairy in a downpour and we were much happier using the road from Tolo itself but it was a small price to pay for the location. The cats were lovely - bringing their tiny kitten to show us and once we’d worked out where the food was and fed them we happily coexisted! Tolo was brilliant - lovely restaurants on the beach, multiple ice cream spots open til late, really family friendly beaches, easy parking and the orange cake in the bakery was amazing. All agreed the best villa we’ve stayed in.

The Villa is lovely and the view is spectacular. I could sit for hours enjoying the sight of the water, sky and surrounding lands. It was very peaceful and tranquil. The trek up to the villa is as stated..challenging and not for the faint hearted. You definitely want a car and don’t want to have to trek up on foot. We had an issue with the oven smoking the first time we tried to use it and the product guide was of no use to us as it was not in English. Gina, however, was quite helpful, checking that it was working correctly but just was in need of additional cleaning. She went out of her way to pick up dinner and wine for us that night. Gina also arranged a lovely driver to take us wine tasting in Nemea and made reservations for us at an excellent local restaurant. We had an issue with the red Sahara dust coming in and being thicker than usual, this limited our ability to use the outside areas. We also had to become accustomed to turning on the boiler for hot water when we wanted to shower. There is no restroom on the living area level so during the day you have to go up or down a flight of stairs for its use.
We really enjoyed Tolo and found it easy to navigate Nafplio as well. There is so much to do and see in the immediate area. We visited ancient sites, enjoyed wine tasting and restaurants and small shops. Would like to have time to explore some of the tours on the water next time we visit.
