Vila Telheiro is a charming and comfortable private villa with two spacious bedrooms, two luxurious bathrooms, and plenty of privacy. The master bedroom features a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is spacious and includes a desk that can also serve as a pleasant workspace. Both bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and ample closet space.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including a large kitchen island. The bright living room has a comfortable seating area and large sliding doors, creating a beautiful flow between the indoors and outdoors.

Outside, you can enjoy a beautifully landscaped, completely private garden with your own pool, spacious sun decks, lounge chairs, a parasol, and an outdoor shower. The covered veranda is a delightful spot for long lunches and cozy evenings filled with food, wine, and good conversation.

In addition, Vila Telheiro features private parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washing machine, air conditioning in all rooms, and heating for the cooler months.

Casa Telheiro is located in the mountains between the charming village of Santa Barbara de Nexe and Estoi. From these mountains, there is a breathtaking view of the city of Faro (especially impressive in the evening with the city lights and a view of the Farol lighthouse) and the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.

Casa Telheiro is easily accessible via a public paved road and a private driveway lined on one side by olive trees, which are a common sight throughout the landscape. All of this is just 18 minutes from the airport.

There is plenty to experience and discover in the area, such as the salt mines in Loulé, a large natural spa, and mud baths in Olhão. The Algarve’s largest shopping mall (MAR-shopping with a designer outlet) is just 9 minutes away.

Guests who enjoy hiking and/or biking will also find plenty to enjoy. Several trails lead directly from the property into the mountains or toward the coast. Did you know there’s a 214 km continuous trail along the coast? This route, which passes through cities, towns, and protected nature reserves—such as the Ria Formosa Nature Park—crosses the Algarve from one end to the other via a green corridor connecting Cabo de São Vicente with Vila Real de Santo António. The route offers direct access to various beaches, which can be reached by bike or on foot.

If you enjoy playing golf in Portugal, this region offers a choice of more than 20 golf courses, including many famous ones such as Pinheiros Altos, Quinta do Lago, the Vilamoura courses, and San Lorenzo, one of the top courses in Europe. Not only the western part of the Algarve but also the area east of Faro is rapidly emerging as a premier golf destination. Our accommodations are located right in between and serves as an excellent base for visiting these courses.

For those who want to relax, there’s a large private pool (heated from June through October) with a lovely sun deck and lounge chairs. Or visit one of the beautiful beaches nearby. Tip: Take a water taxi or the ferry to an island off the coast to admire the local scenery.
