Welcome to the beach! Fabulous sunrises and world famous sunsets await you from the lanai of this 2 bedroom, 2 bath, completely remodeled beachfront condo at Castle Beach. Located on the south end of the island, this condo offers beautiful views of Lovers Key State Park and the Gulf of Mexico from nearly every room.
Master Bedroom En Suite features a King sized bed for maximum comfort, large flat screen TV, private access out to the lanai and views of the water from your bed. The newly remodeled Master Bath has a Walk In Shower. The Guest Bedroom is also an En Suite and also has a King sized bed for your guests. The newly remodeled Guest Bath has a Walk In Shower. Both Bedrooms/Baths are fully stocked with fresh linens and towels.
The open concept living area includes a large flat screen TV, comfortable seating and a sleeper sofa. There's a dining table for four. The newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen offers new appliances, including that oh so important dishwasher, and a breakfast bar that seats three. Cook up a great meal to enjoy on your lanai. With all the boating and wildlife activity it's a pleasure to sit outside with a glass of wine at the end of the day to toast our world famous sunsets or greet the sun in the morning with that first cup of coffee. The lanai is your gateway to the outdoors and private enjoyment of our fresh sea air! Castle Beach 302 offers free WiFi and the very convenient, in-unit washer/dryer - no going home with dirty clothes! PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO CABLE TV BUT THE SMART TVs are CONNECTED TO THE WIFI and offer Peacock, Paramount+ and FireTV.
There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.
Castle Beach Complex has a heated pool with sundeck and lounge chairs, BBQ area, secured building elevator, and ample on-site parking with one assigned spot for you.
Castle Beach Beachfront Complex is a small, 24-unit building at the quiet south end of Fort Myers Beach right where the Gulf flows into Big Carlos Pass. The beach is HUGE and secluded and perfect for fishing. Miles of beautiful, white sandy beach is just outside your back door. Soak up the sun or take long walks to enjoy shell collecting or bird watching... 7 miles of our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and emerald, green Gulf waters - a place for family fun in the sun, a stopping point for the migration of the rare white pelicans and roseate spoonbills, and our world famous sunsets! The quiet, south end of the island is the perfect place to enjoy the true island lifestyle!
Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer.
Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Now open, Santini Marina Plaza will offer you shops, restaurants, bars and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.

Beach renourishment has been completed and the beaches are more beautiful than ever. Condo was as pictured. Clean, comfortable well equipped. Located in quiet part of island. Waterfront, but water was quite a walk from condo. I was aware of this from reading other reviews and accepted it considering reasonable rate/night. I was not prepared for the beach and water being undesirable. The amount of seaweed was, ugh, so much! I envisioned setting up on the beach for the day and being able to leave our things on the beach while we had lunch back at the condo. I also envisioned hanging out at the beach into early evening and enjoying a swim before it got dark. We weren’t able to do this because I was so disgusted with the beach and water. We ended up going to Lover’s Key State Park and Sanibel Beaches, which were beautiful, and more of what I expected. I generally keep all beach stuff in the car, rather than lugging them up to condo day after day, so having to drive to a beach wasn’t horrible as everything was already stored in the car. However, had I known about the beach at this particular building , had I known I would have had to drive to the beach, I could have stayed just about anywhere else. I may have even chosen bayside. Maybe if I would have read more reviews, I would have known this very big, unknown, unspoken fact. Being even as close as 2 miles to Lover’s Key beach changed my whole idea of my plans. I couldn’t just go up to the condo for lunch or a nap. Getting to and from the beach now required a car ride, u loading the car, loading the stuff to tram, then doing it again to get back. It also included spending more $$$ on lunch there, or having to prepare lunches in advance and lugging it in coolers with us.
I chose this building because many buildings in this area had large swampy looking areas between the buildings and the beaches, this one didn’t, but I had no idea I wouldn’t want to use the beach or swim at this location.
The condo itself was perfectly fine. I was just very disappointed, and frankly, annoyed at the beach and water.

The condo was great! It’s clean and organized. Having the 2 single beds and a bathtub was nice for the kids. It’s a walk to the water. Which we new about. I consider it a place for the kids to run and a safety so they can’t run off to the water. We will be back again!

We always look for quiet places away from the crowds and this suited us perfectly. The condo was as advertised and had everything we needed (except a pizza cutter 🤷🏻♀️). The kids were able to run around and play on the huge beach. Publix and their favorite pizza place were a few minutes away. We were able to get to Fort Meyers and Naples easily. We did spend an afternoon at Lovers Key park since it’s so close. We’re going to book again for spring break next year.
