Whether you plan to stay for your honeymoon, a birthday treat or perhaps to pop the question, the owners are available to make your stay magical. Why not pack up the picnic hamper that is provided, and head out into the countryside to take in the stunning views and crisp fresh air? Choose from afternoon tea delivered to your door, champagne-on-ice upon arrival, or perhaps a lovely local produce breakfast hamper. Check out the ‘little extras’ information that will be sent upon booking and get in touch to let the owners help you plan the perfect escape.

For those looking for a more adventurous break, the owners have compiled a list of the best walks, cycle routes and sporting days. Perhaps you love to golf and would enjoy nothing more than tee-ing up on the championship Schloss Roxburghe course, which is a short 10-minute drive away. Or maybe you prefer the thrills and spills of mountain biking and would like to take on the trails at 7Stanes. If you plan to keep your feet firmly on the ground, then why not tackle some, or all, of the Borders Abbey Way which runs through the farm and takes in some of the most awe-inspiring scenery? Whatever the reason for visiting, you will be warmly welcomed to The Bothy.

The Bothy can be booked together with The Lodge (UK7667) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
