In the very heart of Sorrento, between Piazza Tasso and Piazza Sant’Antonino, Piazza Tasso is a double room at Cornelia Rooms, a brand-new property completely renovated in September 2026 and set within a prestigious historic building on Via Luigi De Maio. It would be difficult to find a more central location: step outside the building and you are immediately surrounded by the life of Sorrento, with restaurants, shops, the charming streets of the historic center and some of the city’s most iconic sights all within easy walking distance.



Designed for two guests, the room combines contemporary lines, high-quality materials and details inspired by the Mediterranean. The blue flooring, light-colored furnishings, fabrics in shades of the sea and illustrations dedicated to Sorrento create a bright, elegant and distinctive atmosphere in a space that has been completely renovated and carefully finished in every detail.



At the heart of the room is a comfortable double bed, complemented by a small relaxation area and a practical desk with chair, ideal for guests who may also need to work during their stay. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, air conditioning and heating provide year-round comfort and make it easy to work remotely or enjoy your own streaming services.



The room is also equipped with a mini fridge, espresso coffee machine, kettle, safe and an open storage area for clothes and luggage.



The private bathroom continues the room’s Mediterranean character with blue and aquamarine tones and features a spacious shower, bidet and hairdryer. Bed linen, a set of two towels per guest and a courtesy kit including soap, shampoo and toilet paper are provided.



One of the most enjoyable features of Piazza Tasso is its private balcony overlooking Via Luigi De Maio. Furnished with a table and chairs, it provides a small outdoor space right in the center of Sorrento, where you can pause for a moment and watch the life of the city unfold below. Piazza Tasso is just steps away, as are Piazza Sant’Antonino, the historic center and a wide selection of restaurants, cafés and shops.



The location makes it possible to experience Sorrento almost entirely on foot. Both the train station and the port are within comfortable walking distance, so there is no need for a car during your stay. Cornelia Rooms is also a particularly convenient base for guests wishing to explore the surrounding area and some of the most popular destinations nearby.



The property is located on the first floor of a historic building and there is no elevator. Private parking is not available; guests arriving by car can choose from several secure parking facilities nearby, with indicative rates of approximately €35 per day, depending on the parking facility and the time of year.



Check-in is carried out personally by a member of our staff. We will welcome you at the property, show you the room and provide any useful information or recommendations for your stay. To organize your arrival properly, your approximate arrival time must be agreed with us in advance. We will contact you privately before your stay to arrange all the details.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM, while check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM. Arrivals outside the standard check-in hours are subject to a late check-in fee, payable in cash upon arrival: €30 for arrivals between 8:30 PM and 11:30 PM and €50 for arrivals between 11:30 PM and 2:00 AM.



At check-in, every guest must present a valid identity document, as required by Italian law for registration with the relevant authorities.



The Municipality of Sorrento also applies a tourist tax of €4 per person, per night, from April through October, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Guests under the age of 18 are exempt. The tourist tax is not included in the booking price and must be paid in cash upon arrival.
