Cedar Lane Cottage is located on one of Starkville’s most coveted streets—just five minutes from everything and tucked into a picturesque cottage neighborhood. With inviting double porches, parking for at least six vehicles, and backyard games, there’s plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your stay.

**A note about the neighborhood:** Many nearby homes are occupied by college students. Especially on game weekends, you may hear music or other activity from neighboring properties. We cannot control noise or activities that take place off our property, so please keep this in mind when booking.


You will have access to the entire house! There is a locked owners closet downstairs, please do not try to open it during your stay. The keyless smart lock is located on the side door close to the driveway.

Our digital check-in process makes your arrival simple and convenient. Everything can be completed directly from your phone—no app or printing required.

Before receiving arrival instructions, guests will complete:

* A quick ID verification
* A secure online rental agreement
* guests are required purchase a nonrefundable damage waiver through a third-party insurance provider. The waiver is $42 for stays of up to 10 nights, plus $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights.

Arrival instructions will be released once the required check-in steps are complete.

Late check-out must be requested and approved in advance and is subject to availability.

Cedar Lane Cottage is just 2.2 miles from Davis Wade Stadium and anywhere on MSU campus, even closer to Downtown Starkville, The Cotton District, and The Junction.

PLEASE NOTE: Cedar Lane Cottage is currently in the middle of a thoughtful renovation and design transformation. Renovations have been paused for football season so guests can enjoy the home without active construction, and work will resume after the season ends. The cottage may not yet reflect every detail of our finished vision, but it will be clean, comfortable, functional, and ready to welcome you.
