The Space:

Each bedroom features a comfortable queen bed designed for a restful stay after a day on the water. The spacious master bathroom includes a full setup with clean, modern finishes and a shower, while the second half bathroom (powder room) offers extra convenience for guests and day to day ease.



Guest Access:

Guests of The Blue Canoe will have full access to the entire house. Enjoy the small beach, gorgeous view, and a refreshing swim any time of day. You'll also have access to the driveway for parking and the backyard for relaxation. Inside, you'll find all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen



The Neighborhood:

Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood on Lake Weir, this home offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the, friendly local charm, and calm surroundings perfect for morning walks, stargazing, or simply unwinding by the water in total tranquility.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for getting around Lake Weir and exploring the surrounding area, as rideshares like Uber and Lyft are available but less frequent in quieter lakeside pockets. Nearby public boat ramps, such as Carney Island Park and Hope Boat Ramp, make launching boats, jet skis, or kayaks straightforward. Located just minutes from everyday conveniences, dining, and shopping in neighboring towns like Weirsdale and Ocala, as well as a short drive to The Villages, the home offers easy access to local spots while preserving its peaceful waterfront setting.

Kick off your vacation a little sooner! Want to get settled and start relaxing early? We offer a Priority Early Check In at 2:00 PM (two hours before our standard 4:00 PM time) for a small fee of $20.



This goes directly toward coordinating an expedited turnover with our cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure the home is sparkling and ready for your arrival. Just let us know if you'd like to add this to your stay!



Priority Check Out:

Not a morning person? We get it! Skip the rushed packing and enjoy one last slow breakfast. We offer a Late Check Out at 12:00 PM (standard is 10:00 AM) for just $20.



This fee allows us to bring in a larger cleaning team to ensure the home is still perfectly prepped for our next guests on a tighter timeline. Treat yourself to those extra two hours of relaxation!



Pet Fee:

Pets are family, and we’re happy to host yours! We charge a small $50.00 fee per stay (no animal limit), to give our home an extra thorough clean after your stay, making sure every guest enjoys a pristine experience.



Interaction with Guests:

We are available to assist you throughout your stay! You can reach us via the messaging system. We typically respond within 5 minutes to answer any questions about the house, need recommendations for things to do in The Villages, or require any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
