Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Hamptworth and perfectly positioned on the edge of the New Forest, The Dales Cottage offers a peaceful retreat where comfort, style and rural charm come together. Part of the exclusive Home Farm collection of converted barns, this thoughtfully designed cottage provides a wonderful base for exploring the local area or simply enjoying a slower pace of life.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into a practical entrance hall and boot room, ideal for storing walking boots, coats and outdoor gear after a day spent discovering the forests, villages and country trails nearby.

Beyond, the cottage opens into a welcoming open-plan space with vaulted ceiling. The well-appointed kitchen features elegant shaker-style cabinetry in soft sage tones, integrated appliances and plenty of preparation space for everything from hearty breakfasts to relaxed evening meals. Comfortable seating provides a cosy place to unwind, while the dining area encourages leisurely meals and conversation long into the evening.

The two bedrooms have been carefully furnished to provide a restful sanctuary, combining characterful features with luxurious linens and thoughtful touches throughout. Whether returning from a countryside walk or simply enjoying a peaceful weekend away, guests will find everything needed for a comfortable stay. A stylish shared shower room serves both bedrooms, offering contemporary facilities finished to a high standard.

Outside, the beautifully landscaped central courtyard creates an inviting communal space where guests can relax amongst attractive planting and comfortable seating areas. It's the perfect setting for morning coffee in the sunshine, catching up with friends over a glass of wine, or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside.

Just a short walk away, Hamptworth Golf & Country Club offers excellent dining alongside golf, padel, pickleball and croquet. The popular Cuckoo Inn is also within easy reach, while the New Forest's ancient woodlands, open heathland and picturesque villages provide endless opportunities for walking, cycling and exploration.
