NOTE: Please be advised that the building is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Guests arriving for check-in after 10:00 PM will not be able to access the property. Once you are checked in with a key card, you can come and go as you'd like.

The outdoor pool will be closed for the 2026 season due to safety requirements. The heated indoor pool and hot tub are still available during this time. Please note that the HOA reserves the right to close these amenities at any time.

Direct beach access from the building may be temporarily limited at times. The indoor pool will remain open, and beach access is available through the town parking lot located next to the building.

Biking
Carolina Beach is easy to explore by bike, with restaurants, shops, the Boardwalk, and local attractions nearby. Bike and beach-cruiser rentals are available throughout the island, making two wheels a fun way to experience Carolina Beach.

Walking
Pelican Watch’s oceanfront location makes it easy to enjoy the beach and nearby favorites without getting in the car. Walk to Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar and other nearby dining, or explore more of Carolina Beach on foot. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk, shops, entertainment, and nightlife are just minutes away.

Rideshare
Uber and Lyft serve the Carolina Beach and Wilmington areas and are convenient options for evenings out, trips around the island, or transportation to and from Wilmington International Airport (ILM). Availability and wait times may vary during peak summer weekends.

Airport
Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is approximately 30–40 minutes from Pelican Watch, depending on traffic, and offers nonstop service to numerous major U.S. cities.

Primary guest must be 25+ years old. If you are under 25, please message us before booking so we can review your request. Only registered guests are permitted in the home.

This property has a No Pet Policy. Pets are strictly prohibited; a fine will be imposed for any unauthorized pets, plus immediate removal.

Parking: Two on-site parking spaces are available for guests at Pelican Watch.

Starter Supplies: You'll receive a start-up kit with basic essentials: toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, and trash bags. If staying longer than 2 nights, please plan to restock.

For stays longer than 21 nights, please message us through the booking platform. Extended stays require a guest-paid mid-stay cleaning.
