🌲 The cabin sits in the forest between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so you can split your days between both towns. Guests say the area is quiet, with a short ride to attractions and restaurants.

🍂 Our fall and winter picks: the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for leaf-season hikes, Gatlinburg SkyPark, the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster, The Island in Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

🌙 One caveat: the drive in uses winding mountain roads, so allow extra time after dark.

🚗 Plan on a car: every spot on our list is a drive. Free driveway parking is on site.

🛣️ The roads up to the cabin curve and climb. Take them slowly at night and in winter weather.
