Outside, the cabin sits within the Otrosåsen area with mountain scenery around you. There is no large plot to manage — the focus here is on coming back in, hanging up wet kit, and letting the evening take its time by the fire.



Hovden Alpinsenter is nearby for skiing, and Hovden Fjellbad offers an indoor water park for both children and adults after a cold day out. The village centre has grocery shops, Vinmonopolet, cafés, restaurants, and bars. In summer and autumn, you can explore the mountains, walk along the river Otra, fish, or cycle.
