The moment you step inside, Lake Champlain fills the room. Windows run wall to wall across the lakefront side, and because the cottage is perched above the shoreline, it feels like you're floating over the water. The shoreline faces due west, so every evening the sun sets straight ahead of you.

Island Line Camp is a classic Vermont lake camp, renovated over the past year, on the South Hero/Grand Isle town line in the Champlain Islands. It's cozy and set up for a family or a small group who want slow mornings on the deck and easy evenings watching the sky change.
