## About This Space
Escape to a warm Sierra cabin tucked among the pines in Pine Mountain Lake, about 23 miles from Yosemite National Park’s Big Oak Flat entrance. Soaring knotty-pine ceilings, exposed beams and a wood-burning stove with a beautiful stone surround give the great room the unmistakable character of a mountain retreat, while the spacious deck brings the forest setting right outside your door.
Start the morning with coffee on the deck, watch for deer wandering through the neighborhood, head out for a day in Yosemite or at the lake, then come home to a cozy evening by the wood stove. With 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, central heating and air conditioning, and everything conveniently arranged on one level with no interior stairs, the cabin makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the Sierra.
**Please note: Pine Mountain Lake HOA requires a $50 entry fee per vehicle, paid directly at the gate upon arrival.**
## Settle In & Feel at Home
The vaulted great room brings the living, dining and kitchen areas together in an inviting space for relaxing, sharing meals and spending time together.
A well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook at home, whether you’re making a quick breakfast before Yosemite, packing lunch for the lake or settling in for dinner after a day outdoors. A Keurig coffee maker and a range of cookware and small appliances are provided.
Step outside onto the spacious deck for morning coffee among the trees or an unhurried evening in the mountain air. The cabin sits on a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic inside the gated Pine Mountain Lake community.
## Lake Days at Pine Mountain Lake
One of the best parts of staying here is having the lake and Pine Mountain Lake recreation right within the community.
Head to the sandy beaches to swim, relax by the water or enjoy a picnic with a mountain backdrop. Fish the lake, spend an afternoon along the shoreline, or visit the Marina for seasonal kayak, paddleboard, pedal boat and other watercraft rentals. The Marina also offers a seasonal Lakeside Café and water taxi.
Away from the water, Pine Mountain Lake offers an 18-hole golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, hiking and walking trails, playgrounds, an equestrian center, archery, horseshoes, dining, and a seasonal swimming pool.
Some amenities and activities are seasonal or may require additional fees.
## Yosemite & Groveland
Yosemite National Park’s Big Oak Flat entrance is about 23 miles away, putting the park within easy reach for a day of waterfalls, granite cliffs, giant sequoias, hiking and spectacular Sierra scenery. Historic downtown Groveland is close by when you want an easy afternoon or evening out, with restaurants, cafés, local shops and Gold Rush character.
