Take a trip to one of the UKs most dramatic natural features, the famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves, and the nearby Wookey Hole which has some of Britain’s most spectacular caves. The cathedral city of Wells and Bishops Palace are well worth a visit. Take a walk up to the top of the renown Glastonbury Tor, which has fantastic views over the county, or enjoy a walk around the abbey ruins, the legendary burial place of King Arthur. The Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Haynes Motor Museum make a fantastic day out, as well as The Exmoor National Park and the West Somerset Steam Railway. Golf is available nearby.
