This well appointed home sits just steps from a carriage-road trailhead into Acadia National Park, with a Park Loop Road entrance a minute's drive (or a 10-minute walk) away — you can be out on 45 miles of car-free crushed-stone trails without ever getting in the car. It's also one of the few homes in the area built specifically for big groups: 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms across two floors, plus a finished basement with a full game room and home gym, so everyone has room to spread out after a day on the trails.



One of the best parts of the house is how easy it is to enjoy Acadia without spending your vacation searching for parking.

Sleeping arrangements



The main-floor primary suite has a king bed, its own bathroom with a soaking tub, a dedicated workspace with a desk and printer, and a window A/C unit for warm nights. Upstairs, four more bedrooms mix queens, kings, and twins — including two bedrooms with trundle bunks (a twin on top, a full on the bottom, plus a twin trundle) that are perfect for kids or extra guests. One upstairs king room also has two twin beds and its own half bath. Altogether, the layout comfortably sleeps 21 without anyone feeling cramped.



Downstairs fun



The basement is where this house really shows off. There's a full arcade-style game room with a PlayStation 5, an NBA Jam machine, Golden Tee 3D golf, shuffleboard, table tennis, foosball, ring toss, and a two-player Pop-A-Shot — plenty to keep a big group entertained on a rainy day. Right next door, a dedicated gym has a treadmill, stationary bike, rowing machine, free weights, a bench, box jumps, and yoga mats, so nobody has to skip their routine on vacation.



Outside



Out back you'll find a propane fire table, a propane grill, and an outdoor dining table for eight, plus a wood firepit and a cornhole set for evenings under the stars. A balcony with a telescope makes for great stargazing, and Acadia's night skies don't disappoint. (Outdoor furniture is set up late April through the end of October.)



Kitchen & dining



The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, not just reheating — two sinks, a walk-in pantry with a second fridge, a dishwasher, air fryer, crockpot, and even a lobster pot if you want to cook your own Maine catch. Coffee and tea basics (ground coffee, tea bags) plus cooking staples like olive oil, cooking spray, and salt and pepper are provided. The adjoining dining room seats 10 at the table and has a coffee bar with a Nespresso machine and wine fridge for slower mornings and evening wind-downs. Two separate living rooms on opposite ends of the main floor, each with its own TV, mean the group can split off to watch different things or just have more room to relax.



Bathrooms & everyday comforts



There are four full bathrooms (one with a soaking tub) and one half baths, all stocked with hair dryers and travel-sized toiletries. Comfort is covered throughout the house with mini-split and window A/C units spread across the living room, basement, upstairs hallway, and two bedrooms. Laundry is free to use, with detergent and dryer sheets provided. Smart TVs throughout let you log into your own streaming apps (no cable, but you likely won't miss it).
