The Perch Cottage at Timberlane Resort – Meta Lake

Welcome to The Perch Cottage at Timberlane Resort, a beautiful year-round Northwoods retreat in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Nestled among towering pines and native wetlands, Perch Cottage offers a peaceful, private setting with a limited lake view and full access to all Timberlane Resort amenities.

Just minutes from downtown Eagle River, this custom-built cottage combines the charm of Northwoods living with modern comfort. Whether you're planning a summer lake vacation, fall getaway, or winter snowmobile trip, Perch Cottage is designed for making memories in every season.

The Cottage
Perch Cottage comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests and features an inviting open-concept floor plan with locally milled pine, hardwood floors, central air conditioning and heat, and cozy Up North-style furnishings.
The sleeping arrangements include:
- Bedroom 1: Queen bed
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed
- Loft-style Bedroom 3: One twin bed plus a twin-over-queen bunk bed
- Additional sleeping: Two full-size sleeper sofas
- Bathroom: One full bathroom with tub/shower
- Laundry: Washer and dryer
- Bedding, linens, and towels are provided.

Fully Equipped Kitchen
The gourmet kitchen makes preparing meals at the cottage easy. It features locally crafted cabinetry and stainless-steel appliances, including a full-size refrigerator, natural gas range, microwave, and dishwasher.
Grilling: A Weber propane gas grill is provided during the summer season only. A charcoal grill is available during the winter; charcoal is not provided.

Timberlane Resort Amenities
Guests of Perch Cottage have access to the resort's wonderful, shared amenities, including a gorgeous sand beach with excellent swimming, expansive level shoreline, boat dock, boat and outboard motor, private boat landing, swim raft, water slide, Lily Pad floating mat, kayaks, canoe, stand-up paddleboard, large play yard, outdoor tournament ping pong, horseshoes, cornhole, picnic areas, fire pit, complimentary firewood, and a fully equipped fish-cleaning shack.
With western exposure, Timberlane Resort is also an incredible place to enjoy Northwoods sunsets and evening stargazing.

Four Seasons of Northwoods Fun
Meta Lake is ideal for fishing, boating, swimming, watersports, and simply relaxing along the shoreline. Wildlife sightings are part of the experience—you may spot bald eagles, deer, loons, otters, foxes, geese, and more.
Fall brings spectacular colors and Eagle River's famous Cranberry Fest. When winter arrives, you can snowmobile directly from the cottage to more than 500 miles of area trails. There is plenty of room for trailer parking, and snowmobile rentals are just a short drive away.
The World Championship Snowmobile Derby and USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships are also nearby, along with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and other winter activities.

A Peaceful Setting Close to Eagle River
Timberlane Resort consists of just four cottages—three direct lakefront cottages plus Perch Cottage. Perch is tucked back among the pines and wetlands, providing extra privacy while still giving guests full access to the lake and resort amenities.
Downtown Eagle River is only a short drive away for restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and everything you may need during your stay.
