The Space:
A LITTLE WOODLAND MAGIC. A WHOLE NEW WAY TO GET AWAY.
Morning coffee on the screened patio with river views. A quiet afternoon reading beside the fire in your own mirrored dome. An evening soaking in the hot tub while snow drifts through the trees.
Welcome to Eagles Nest, where slowing down comes with some wonderfully unexpected places to do it.
This two bedroom, two bathroom retreat in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, sleeps up to five guests. It’s an inviting escape for couples looking for time together, small families making memories and anyone who could use a few peaceful days in the woods.
Come for crisp fall air and colorful surroundings. Stay cozy through winter with a heated dome, sheltered patio and warm outdoor soaks. When summer arrives, enjoy the organic swim pond and long afternoons beside the water.
Close to town, yet tucked into the trees, Eagles Nest makes staying right here feel like a vacation all its own.
THE EAGLES LAIR: YOUR OWN COZY BUBBLE
A mirrored geodesic stargazing dome tucked into the woods, with river views through the trees. Yes, that’s part of your stay.
Step inside, settle into the couch or Lovesac and put on your favorite music through the Sonos system. The wood burning stove brings welcoming warmth to crisp fall evenings and snowy winter days.
Read a book. Swap stories. Take a nap. Listen to rain on the roof or watch snow settle outside while you stay cozy beside the fire.
There’s something special about having a place like this entirely to yourselves. You’ll probably want a photo, but you may want another hour here even more.
A propane firepit offers another gathering spot when outdoor conditions allow.
HOT TUB UNDER THE STARS
Your private hot tub sits off the back deck with river views and trees all around.
Slip into the warm water, breathe in the cool North Idaho air and let the day slow down. In winter, watching snow fall from a steaming hot tub may become your favorite part of the stay.
No reservations to make. No reason to rush.
THE SCREENED PATIO: AN EVERY SEASON FAVORITE
Enjoy morning coffee, dinner together or a fireside game night on the screened cabin patio.
Vinyl screen panels help block the wind and hold warmth, making this sheltered space inviting beyond the summer months. Get comfortable on the couches beside a crackling fire or gather around your own poker table.
With dozens of puzzles and games, there’s plenty to enjoy when the weather calls for an afternoon at home. Deal another hand, pour something warm and let the evening unfold.
THE EAGLES ROOST: A LITTLE TIME TRAVEL
At the edge of the organic swim pond sits an authentic 1952 Rod and Reel “canned ham” trailer with two decks.
Inside, games, books, collectibles and authentic decorations from the 1950s bring the charm of a vintage camping trip to your getaway.
Spend a quiet afternoon reading, take a leisurely nap or watch snow fall across the pond from this nostalgic hideaway. In warmer weather, move between a swim and a lazy break beside the water.
All the fun of a camp style experience, with your comfortable cabin waiting nearby.
EAGLES LAKE: AN ORGANIC SWIM POND
This is one of Eagles Nest’s most unusual experiences: an organic swim pond right on the property.
In warmer months, take a dip while music plays through the outdoor Sonos speakers and birds visit the surroundings. It’s a refreshing way to enjoy the woodland setting.
For guests who enjoy cold water, the pond can offer a seasonal cold plunge experience when conditions safely allow, with the hot tub nearby for warming up afterward. Access depends on weather and ice conditions, so check with our team before planning a winter dip.
THE EAGLES MEADOW
Fire up the BBQ and bring dinner outside. Play badminton or croquet, kick a ball around the big grassy lawn or find a spot to stretch out in the fresh air.
The meadow gives your group room to enjoy a relaxed afternoon without needing a packed itinerary.
FEATHERED HOLLOW
Follow the trails to your own peaceful birdwatching spot, with more than 60 birdhouses nestled in the trees and a distinctive Swiss cheese canoe birdbath.
Use the provided birdseed at designated feeding spots, settle in and watch the activity around you. Birds flit through the branches while squirrels go about their day.
Bring your morning coffee and stay awhile. Sometimes the smallest moments become the ones you remember most.
A FEW EAGLES TO FIND
Large wooden eagle carvings, eagle benches, statues and themed details are tucked throughout the property. See how many eagle decorations your group can spot during your stay.
Real wildlife may visit, too. Deer, turkeys and squirrels frequent the surroundings, and occasionally a moose passes through. Every sighting is a surprise.
A COMFORTABLE NEST FOR FIVE
Two bedrooms and two modern bathrooms give your group a welcoming place to recharge:
Primary suite: King bed with a private ensuite bathroom.
Second bedroom: Bunk room for kids or additional guests.
Fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and starter toiletries are provided.
You’ll also have fast Wi-Fi for streaming or remote work, a Smart TV, central heating and air conditioning, an in-unit washer and dryer, and smart lock entry. A private garage provides space for parking, bikes or outdoor gear.
THE SCREENED PATIO: FIRESIDE DINNERS & GAME NIGHTS
This is the kind of porch that becomes part of the vacation. Start with morning coffee and river views, gather around the outdoor dining table for dinner, then settle onto the couches beside the crackling fireplace.
Your own poker table sets the stage for friendly competition and “just one more hand,” while dozens of games and puzzles give everyone a reason to linger.
Vinyl panels help block the wind and hold in warmth, making this inviting spot a favorite for crisp fall evenings and cozy winter nights.
LESS SCHEDULING. MORE TIME TOGETHER.
Spend the morning watching birds, the afternoon tucked into the dome with a book, and the evening moving from fireside games on the patio to a hot tub soak beneath the stars.
Explore each little retreat or return to the one that’s already become your favorite.
Come for a change of scenery. Leave feeling like you finally had time to enjoy it.
