The double-height living room, with a white 3D panel wall behind the TV and a globe chandelier, is open to the kitchen and the dining table, so the plan for the day gets settled at breakfast with everyone in the same room. Kids take the two themed bedrooms, Harry Potter with a bunk bed and Mickey & Minnie with two Full beds, while the couples take the two King suites. The garage was turned into a game room with foosball and Xbox, and the upstairs loft has a sectional and a TV for anyone who wants a movie away from the living room conversation. Out back, the screened private pool faces the trees, next to the covered patio with a dining table and a gas grill, and that is where the day winds down once the parks close.

About the Resort

Storey Lake Resort is a gated community with a 24-hour gate, and guests of this home have access to the resort recreation areas: a pool with lazy river and water slide, a splash pad for the kids, mini golf, a fitness center, sand volleyball, a sports court, a playground, a tiki bar and hammocks by the lake. It covers the afternoon when nobody can face another park line.

You have exclusive use of the entire home: the five bedrooms, five bathrooms, living and dining areas, kitchen, loft, laundry, game room and the outdoor area with the screened private pool, covered patio and grill. Parking is free on the driveway and the street; there is no garage for cars, since it was turned into a game room. The shared recreation areas of Storey Lake Resort are also open to you: the pool with lazy river and water slide, mini golf, fitness center, sports courts and playground. There is an exterior security camera at the front entrance.

Our team is based in Orlando, not managing your stay from another time zone, and is reachable 24/7 by message and phone, with support in several languages. We answer questions about the house, the resort gate, park tickets, dining and transportation, and we sort out the things that do not follow the plan, such as a flight that lands after midnight or a payment that needs another route.

During your stay the whole house belongs to your group. Access instructions are sent before check-in at 4 pm, so you can drive straight to the house with no front desk to stop at. Pool heating or a propane tank for the grill are requested through the booking conversation, with the advance notice given in the description, and check-out is at 10 am.

Storey Lake Resort is in Kissimmee, on the Disney side of Orlando: a gated community with a lake, residential streets of two-story homes and palm trees. By car, Disney is 12 to 18 minutes away, Walmart 6 to 10, the Vineland outlets 10 to 15, Universal 20 to 30 and Orlando International Airport (MCO) 20 to 25 minutes.

A rental car is the practical way to get around, and with free parking on the driveway and the street, a group of 14 can bring more than one car. The resort sits right off the Osceola Parkway, with easy access to the Disney parks, Universal and SeaWorld, as well as the shopping areas. Rideshare services operate in the area for the days when nobody wants to drive.
