Welcome to the child-friendly Schauerhof—your exclusive vacation at Lake Chiemsee

The Schauerhof, just 4 km from Lake Chiemsee, offers the ideal blend of nature, animals, and traditional farm life. Here, you can enjoy a unique vacation in our exclusive 3- and 5-star vacation apartments, which offer the perfect level of comfort for families.
Vacation for the Whole Family
At our child-friendly farm, our young guests not only have the opportunity to get to know animals such as calves, alpacas, and ponies, but also to actively help out with farm work. This way, children learn more about farm life and how to interact with animals in an exciting way.
Relaxation and adventure in the heart of nature
The region around Lake Chiemsee captivates visitors with its breathtaking scenery and diverse recreational opportunities. Whether hiking, biking, or visiting the impressive Herrenchiemsee Palace—there’s something for everyone here.

The Schauer family introduces themselves!

We—the Schauer family—are Alexandra and Josef with our daughters Maria and Barbara. At our Schauerhof farm, we’ve been offering “farm stays” since 2025—now in our third generation.
In July 2025, the farm was handed over to our daughter Maria.
We’re excited to introduce you to our farm and our family!
Our Heart’s Desire
We want our guests to feel at home in our home region of Chiemgau—and especially here at the Schauerhof.
