Über diese apartment dieses Ferienunterkunft
A two-bedroom apartment perched directly over the water in Wynyard Quarter, designed by Athfield Architects and developed by Willis Bond to a 7 and 8 Homestar standard. Two balconies, one facing the harbour and one facing the city, so the apartment turns through the day with the light. Generous open-plan living, a separate dining area, two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, secure underground parking, and a building that runs like a small hotel underneath you. Self-arrival by digital lock, our team there when you want them and invisible when you don't.
The Space:
The apartment sits on the third level of one of Wynyard Quarter's more considered buildings, on the corner of Halsey and Madden Streets, looking out over the water in two directions. It was designed for the way people actually live in a space like this: open enough to host, separate enough to retreat.
The living room runs into the kitchen and out onto the west balcony, where the harbour and Harbour Bridge sit directly in front of you. Full-length windows pull the light deep into the room, the kitchen is fully equipped with current appliances, and a separate dining area means a proper sit-down dinner doesn't compete with the lounging end of the room. Cross the apartment and the east balcony opens onto the city, a second outdoor space that catches the morning sun and the evening glow off the surrounding buildings.
Both bedrooms are generous and each has its own bathroom. The master sits at the front of the apartment with an expansive walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite that holds its own against the rest of the finish. The second bedroom is positioned for guests or family travelling with you, with privacy and its own bathroom across the hall.
The building itself is part of what makes the stay. The gym is genuinely well equipped, the theatrette and conference room are available to residents and guests, and a 24/7 concierge is on the ground floor whenever you need them. The building is sustainably designed throughout, double glazed and well insulated, which you notice in the quiet and the temperature more than anywhere else.
We love the moment the setting sun hits the city. From the west balcony you watch the last of the day drop behind the Harbour Bridge and the whole skyline lights up. Cross to the east balcony and the same sunset is reflected back off all the glass city buildings, a long orange glow that fades as the city lights take over. It's pure magic and it happens right in front of you every evening.
Guest Access:
The residence is yours entirely, with secure underground parking and full access to the building's amenities: gym, theatrette, conference room and 24/7 concierge. A digital door lock means self-arrival is seamless, with full access instructions provided in advance. Our team is available whenever you need us and invisible when you don't.
The Neighborhood:
Wynyard Quarter is Auckland's waterfront precinct and the apartment sits at the heart of it. Dining, shopping, entertainment and harbour-front activity are all within a few steps of the building. The Viaduct, Silo Park, the ferry terminal and Victoria Park are short walks away. The promenade runs in both directions from the door and is the way most people choose to move between Wynyard and the CBD.
For guests arriving by car, secure underground parking is included. Once you're here the precinct is walkable and most things you'll want are within a few blocks.
Getting Around:
Wynyard Quarter is on the water and on foot for most of what you'll want. The CBD is a ten minute walk along the promenade. Auckland Airport is around 25 to 35 minutes by car or rideshare depending on traffic, roughly 21 kilometres south. Secure underground parking makes arrival and day trips straightforward, though the precinct itself rarely requires a car. Waiheke ferries leave from the downtown terminal, a short walk from the door.
Interaction with Guests:
Arrival is contactless. The residence has a digital door lock, so you let yourself in whenever suits, with full access instructions sent ahead of your stay. There's no front desk and no scheduled meet and greet, though the building's concierge is on the ground floor 24/7 if you need them. Our team is reachable the whole time you're here, quick to respond if you need anything, and otherwise we leave you to it. The space is yours entirely for the length of your stay.
