Hotel du Nord

Nice and clean.

There are No lifts and same was never intimated by booking.com or by hotel. Very inconvenient to climb stairs. Breakfast layout was very poor . The fruits were not available and the serving lady just said that the fruits have finished.

breakfast was good; staff service at the dining area was good; food selection was good

i didn't like the fact that the 2 rooms i reserved were not only close to each other but in 2 different floors; i do understand that requests might not be accomodated but at least a compromise might be nice-- have it on the same floor; we were not informed that there was a construction on the street in front of the hotel; we arrived at around 11pm and looking for the back entrance at nighttime, the area was not properly lit and sketchy was not really impressive especially when you're tired from travelling

Ruhige Lage und die gute öffentliche Anbindung (Bus 1) an die Altstadt. Dadurch haben wir 2 Tage kein Auto gebraucht.

A comfortable bed, good shower, helpful and friendly staff.

Unfortunately , the entire area was torn up and city pipes being replaced. Unsafe to walk anywhere.The breakfast was minimal, mostly packaged foods and uninspiring. The best part of breakfast was the freshly ground and brewed for each individual.
