Hotel Labelle

The suite had plenty of room, and everything you could need for a self contained stay. Extensive continental style breakfast just right.

Be aware the location is a part of town with many drug addicts and homeless people around. Also, there's a strong unusual odour in the reception and stairways - bordering on, but just short of, the unpleasant.

The room was spacious and felt like we had a small apartment to ourselves. The layout was functional with the kitchen/sitting area clearly separated. It let us create "zones," which was nice for our longer stay. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was large. The location was perfect for being close to the Village. Our room had lots of windows, which let in plenty of light. The included breakfast had a decent selection, and the staff consistently refilled it. Nothing fancy, but a decent spread.

There was a really intense note about doing the dishes ourselves, or we'd be charged a substantial fine for not doing so. I would expect a hotel charging what they do to do the dishes. This is why I am paying for a hotel and not an Airbnb.

Great room in a terrific location. Breakfast was very good too!

Sheets didn’t fit the bed (flat sheet used on the bottom was too small to be tucked in.) A kettle in the room would’ve been nice.

The staff was the best part actually - super helpful and kind.

The smell of a hospital and also the setting were kind of striking. I honestly felt uncomfortable… the AC is old and area around the windows was not cleaned for a long time.
